The DIARE provides an environment where cutting-edge researchers, who forge new research areas by merging different disciplines, talk about their experiences in a frank manner, allowing students to experience the true joy of crossing the boundaries of existing disciplines. This environment provides students the opportunity to be exposed to diverse ideas and fields, to network across disciplines, and to learn to think "out of the box". Because everyone learns differently, we encourage students to attend the lectures of as many distinguished researchers as possible to chart their own future course.
